Bradford Youth Players (BYP) is unique, being the only youthclub in West Yorkshire which uses the performing arts as the basis for its youth work.

BYP run youth clubs that specialise in performing arts activities for children and young people from 7 upwards from our base at Little Lane Church. BYP welcome all young people who are interested in any aspect of the performing arts. We combine the elements of a theatre school and an amateur dramatic group in a fun, inclusive, relaxed and safe youth club environment. Through BYP, young people develop their performing arts abilities while also building self-confidence and gaining valuable personal and social skills.

BYP perform regular shows at our base at Little Lane and other venues in the district and all this for only £3.50 per week!

BYP run three Performing Arts Youth Clubs:

• BYP Beginners: (age 7 to 11, school years 2 to 6) Tuesday 6:30pm – 8pm

• Act 1: (age 11 to 16, school years 7 to 11) Tuesday 7pm – 9pm

• Act 2: (age 16 to 25, school years 12+) Thursday 7:30pm – 9.30pm

BYP are currently looking for volunteers to assist with all aspects of a busy youth club. If you can spare any time to assist with costumes, props, stage management, chaperoning, administration or even if you want to become a trustee of this thriving group, please get in touch.

If you are interested and would like further information, please come to a session at Little Lane, or visit our website www.bradfordyouthplayers.co.uk

BYP is supported by Bradford Metropolitan District Council.
